It will be as soon as we drop points where perhaps we shouldn't. Those sort of results happen all the time in football yet people will see it as vindication to call for his head.

this team wont drop points anywhere, never mind where they should'nt:)

you're the sort of person who worries me when it comes to Mancini, if we're not like 2nd a point behind Chelsea and in all the cup finals I'm worried people like you are going to be calling for his head.

Whereas I want stability and will give him the 3 years minimum, especially considering as there's nobody else out there.

its his first full season, with his own buys, cant see this even being an issue.

-- Fri Jul 09, 2010 1:07 pm --

the clubs owners, gave mark hughes(whom they didnt appoint) a great oppertunity, to proove he was upto the job, i cant see anyway they will be less loyal to bobby manc

Its time for Mancini to showcase his skills this year. I dont think the chairman will get rid but he wont keep splashing the cash on players to the extent he has done on the last few seasons. Mancini needs a good start he has a great squad to choose from. He must use his assits he has to the best effect including his training staff he needs to use Kidd and his views more than ever before last season.
The acid test is our start to the season get a good start and we will be up there when it matters battling for the top 4 places even with a bit of luck maybe title come the end of the season. Bad start and we will be playing catch up which is a hard thing to pull off. Mancini needs to get the best out of the team and if we can win a Cup it will be great but I feel we will need to get a top 4 finish for Mancini to hold onto his job. I hate to say it but he is looking to win the title so if he finishes outside the top 4 it will be a bad season in his eyes and maybe he may walk away from the job himself if he fails.

"Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini favourite to be first boss sacked"

I, for one, am confident that this will mean absolutely nothing as soon as City get the chance to do their talking on the football pitch.

I for one didn't like mancini when he came in,I was pro hughes.I didn't like the way cook and marwood went about sacking hughesy.but at the end of the day mancini's the manager and from now on, i will give my backing to him.As long has he win's a premiership next season : )

I thought he got off quite lightly. He deserved a cricket bat round the back of the head for signing RSC alone.
