Mancini for England Job ?

I think you hit the nail on the head. The FA want a squeaky clean conformer and Mancini is never going to be that.

Exactly,its all about desired criteria,which inludes personality,stability and conformity - Wenger reflects their requirements very well.
 
FA are clueless. This would be a brilliant appointment if they really want some guts in the England team.

They don't want guts. They want compliance to pick players that sell more shirts than success.
 
Has A Ferguson's name been mentioned? I'd actually be interested to see what he could do with the national side.
 
Apparently as per Sky Italia... He has been invited to Wembley today by the FA for the England match
