Just a thought, but theirs a lot of talk about these two doing some sort of job swap in the summer, only at the weekend I read City would make Jose the highest paid manager in the world. Does anyone think this could be the problem with SWP's contract discussions, because Jose never really took to Shauny at Chelski, or did he?

Exactly marco, people calling for him to be replaced make me ashamed to be a City fan, he's won 7 out of 12 and we've only conceded 10 goals

I hadn't heard about this.

Mind you, I've been stuck in a cave off the New Guinea coast these past six months and I've only just logged back on...

i want mancini to stay even if we dont get 4th

you dont turn jose down but if we dont get him then we need to keep mancini 4th or not.
thirty odd bloody years with sweet fa another 5 miniutes and mancini will deliver if its not this season it will be next,me yes i would turn jose away

I like Mancini too. but can't think of any reason for not talking to Shauny other than what I wrote above. Just mulling things over as we all are. I also wonder why Mancini never spent in january window other than it's not as good a window as the summer one. I would like to see him with is own players and don't think he's done a bad job up to now.

99% of the time i'd agree with you, hate the chopping and changing over the years, jose though is an entirly different case.

Here we go again, can we not just concentrate on this season and the manager we have now, who's doing alright for someone so unworthy in the eyes of the deluded. There's plenty of reasons for not talking to "Shauny" now.

My only concern about Bobby Manc has been the negative way of playing, that we appear to have adopted.
However,if we can continue playing with a 4-4-2 formation, where in my opinion we look more comfortable, then I,ll accept that.
Yes we need to grind out results and if we get that 4th spot by being negative, then so be it.
But the problem could well backfire for Bobby.
Really hope not.But I do accept that there are going to be times when he will throw caution to the wind and use 5 in midfield.
But,after Sundays game,I think that the opposition should be more worried with what we,re capable of doing to them and NOT the other way around.
Come on you Blue Boys lets get that result tomorrow !!!!!!

Listen guys, im connected to Man City, and i know what wil happen in Summer, everybody does, Mancio told me himself, Mancinis going to Portsmouth and Curbishley is coming here, with Avram Grant joining the Liberal Democrat party! It doesnt take an idiot to know this, so lets stop these threads - we all know it!!!

No Way JOSE, Got to stick with Mancini, he will turn us into a top top side and has a hunger to want to do well, you can see it in him, passion, commitment and a growing love of his team and club, he has made this season interesting because i truly believe Mark Hughes was not in charge of his players and this guy seems to lead with a rod of iron, makes his own choices and he aint doing bad at all is he,, roll on pre season, champs league spot and Mancini with money to spend,,,,,KEEP MANCINI

Just been watching revista de la liga and the 'experts' there think jose has been offered the real job and is just negotiating over the amount of control he gets (basically he wants all of it). Very suprised they are even bothering negotiating because i thought he had already agreed to come here!

The guy is the best in the buisness but i also really like mancini so i'm not really bothered either way

this sums it up for me, we can't go wrong, yes Jose would be incredible but to have Mancini anyway just shows how far we have come.
We are a lucky bunch.
