Mancini Has Failed

Pity you didn't sing that song before Hughes got sacked. Mancini has added nothing mate, be honest.

He has organized the defense, not that people like you care.

I think you're straying into dangerous territory here. I don't share your enthusiasm for Mancini, and I realise that I'm swimming against the tide of popular opinion on here. I accept that I'll take some criticism on here from Mancini fans, and that doesn't really bother me. I happen to think the facts support my argument, not theirs. But when you set off down the road of questioning people's motives, and whether they care about the club, that's when things start getting nasty on here. It doesn't need to be like that if we all accept each others right to our points of view, however much we may disagree.

i think everbody cares, we just dont all agree.

You obviously havent read Bonols post over the last couple of days, he does not give two fucks about City.

I understand that you care even though you dont share my admiration for Mancini.

i have read his posts, i have to.

Hes staying thats official now.

And fact is hes done a good job whilst hes here, he has sorted out the defence and kept balance in the team. We conceded less goals. It is clear we have played better under mancini.

If you have read the abusive drivel this guy posts I dont understand how you can defend the guy, I just dont.

I'm undecided on Mancini, i think we need to allow him to bring in some of his own signings and try and create a better balanced squad. He has helped organise the defence, at times we've looked brilliant at others certainly not. I just hope he recognises that we don't need another 3 defensive, sideways passing midfielders, please buy a creative maestro (gourcuff) and some technically good pacy full backs.

If we were to sack mancini this summer we would once again be ridiculed and hung out to dry by the press, despite it being them putting the pressure on by insisting that he has 'failed' just as they did with Hughes before deciding he was harshly treated.

It would only be worthwhile if Mourinho took his place but this is unlikely. The only other managers I would consider to be safe options are Van Gaal (will he leave Bayern?) Hiddink (doesn't seem interested) and Wenger (hate him and he won't come). If we sack him who do we get? Another risk that half the posters on here will want out as soon as we lose 2 games. I honestly don't see many guys that id be particularly confident about, Riijkard, O'Neill (eeeuuurgghh the thought sickens me), Hodgson, Jol, McClaren.

Let's get behind Bobby and at least give him next season to prove himself!
