still nothing official regarding the contract, but just talks that he agreed and few local journals tweeted it.

he was interviewed on Sky News Arabia today

he said "We would like to win the Champions League next season"

"our priority is to win all games"

"I didn't receive any messages from SAF"

"Sheikh Mansour endless support played big part in winning the title"

"After the break time, we will work on improving the team and try win all possible trophies and not only CL"

I bet BillyShears can't wait till Mancini signs that contract ;-)

I'm afraid it is. I'm a man of my word so if the owners see fit to give Mancini a new contract this summer I'll be taking a three month sabbatical from the opening weekend of the season.

Khaldoon was on the 9pm Monday flight from Manchester to Abu Dhabi. Sat in business class with two associates and wearing shirt and jeans like an average punter.

And the announcement of City being champions got a decent cheer too.

I heard it was announced on all Etihad flights.

Yes, it was definitely announced on Tuesday morning's flight, but then Roberto Mancini and David Platt were on the flight. I got to meet them and had a couple of pics with them.
Just when I thought my weekend couldn't get any better!

Also, Adam Johnson was apparently on the flight. Didn't get to meet him though as he was sleeping.

I had a very bad case of the shakes on Monday morning.

There is only one Sheikh for me and that's Mansour. He looks like David Silva but with more money. Dreamy.

I think he is the double of Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters.
