Mansour is crazy for him, cause he brings City name all over the world

Hahaha. Love that comment. So deluded our resident clown Mancio could've said it ...

Mancini is summoned once a year to see our owner, he won't have a scooby what he thinks from one month to the next!

Im sure Khaldoon mentioned that Mansour speaks to the manager at least once a month on the phone

That's a very strange comment TH, surley Mancini has regular dialogue with the all at the club. Even if he didn't speak to Mansour on a daily basis surely the message will be passed down through the likes of Khaldoon?

I think momentum was lost at Madrid in the manner we lost. It took the wind out of our sails so I agree with him and not you.

Personally I'd have thought the result in Madrid would have hardened resolve amongst the players and staff to not let ourselves down against Ajax. But sure, lets blame the result in Madrid for the subsequent garbage we saw in Europe. Perfect excuse culture.

What was that about a "winning mentality".

How is the fact that we lost a game that Mancini thinks we should have won making an excuse?

The quote is "we lost our chance losing in Madrid". I presume he means chance to qualify, in which case not only is it an excuse, buts a shit one. In my opinion of course.

Ding, ding, lets get ready for another internet fight...

It was Silva who stated that we were deflated after the loss in Madrid.

I think you're reading a bit much into a sentence there. Had he said he didn't have a problem with the loss in Madrid but the rest of the comp was a bit shit I would have been more worried.

You do have somewhat of a warped view though mate :)

I find it incredible that the manager wouldn't have an idea of what the owner thinks of major players in the squad. Even if it isn't first hand from the sheikh himself I don't for one second believe that when the manager has been in discussion with club executives about the squad that he wouldnt have even been given some idea of our owner's opinion.

Even more pertinently I can't see how anyone on this board could know whether mancini has been told what the sheikh thinks of balotelli. Staggering to suggest otherwise.

For what it's worth i agree with Billy

Good teams deal with defeats like that and bounce back, just like we did after Sunderland at Norwich.

Poor just to blame the Madrid game it was the full package, we well and truly fucked it up.
