As quoted on sky sports news, Mancini has said it's another persons job to take care of transfers, surely a man who's just been given a new contract and is now probably the highest paid manager in the premiership should be in charge of who we sign.

Or

Is he and just playing games with the media and knows exactly what's going on, and when it will happen, and wouldn't have signed a new contract if he wasn't in charge of everything.

Of course he isn't in charge of transfers. He doesn't mean he isn't in charge of which players he wants to bring in. He means he doesn't do the negotiating or the contract terms. in terms of No manager does.

This is getting pathetic.WTF is wrong with people?

he signed a new deal for 5 years... there's no way him and the club aren't on the same page with regard to the transfer market and possible signings. so all the hooplah over the riff with marwood is just the media making a mountain out of a mole hill

I would've thought that he tells Marwood who he wants and leaves him to it.
Other than that Marwood goes to him with a player we've been offered and Bob gives him the yeah or neah.
Can't be to hard,can it?

Calm down Pam, just opening it up for conversation as I'm fed up of 120 pages on RVP!

And no, I don't think Bobby has to do the paperwork!

It's exactly the same situation that Kenny Dalglish had at Liverpool, the manager identifies targets and others do the actual deals.

The major difference being that our manager identifies players that can actually play football which is why we didn't spunk the best part of £100million on Downing, Adam, Carroll and Henderson last year.

yeah well, last season Mancini asked for De Rossi, and Marwood got him Hargreaves..lot of fooking good that did..

I don't think there's tension between them as is being hyped in the newspapers, but Mancini has every right to be pissed off if he doesn't get the players he asks for, and then everyone expects him to win titles.

Mancini did have a little dig at the buying team, "i hope they can do a good job" think Bobby is getting a bit frustrated like the rest of us lol
