On the issue of Kidd I can agree that he might be surplus since Platt arrived, but as for Mancini it would take on hell of an info to go against the words of Khaldoon and Mansour eh?
You sure you ain´t just bored mate? :D
I'd say that was absolutely not the case, Mancini clearly gets on very well with Kidd and respects his input but Kidd is 63 now and he had a brush with cancer a few years back. The job is hardly stress-free (see Sunday for proof!) so if he wanted to retire at the top it wouldn't surprise me.

I highly doubt that considering the number of years Kidd spent as Slur Alex's assistant. He knows the game better than most and is no doubt better at it than most.
The rumour of him retiring has been doing the rounds for a few months. If he does I wish him all the best. A fantastic man, a fantastic coach, and someone who's presence on the touchline always puts a smile on my face.
Totally agree, and to add to it, he's a local lad who has done it both as a player and coach with both Manchester teams, not many can lay claim to that. I hope when he does retire that Manchester recognises this achievment somehow, he fully deserves it, hopefully it won't be for another a couple of trophies though.BillyShears said:S04 said:I think Kidd hardly would love the media exposure it would force on him if Platt wasn´t there, he´s a bit old school I reckon.
