mancini mindgames keep city top

Not sure we can write up where he will end up as far as history will remember him as a City manager...at least not just yet! With the resources deployed and spent we will have to see more silverware and titles before seeking to finalise a thread like this one.

great article and a fascinating insight into mancinis mindset. apologies if already posted. enjoy.

The text messages tend to drop at 11pm and only when they receive them will Roberto Mancini's players know what the landscape of the following day looks like. They reveal whether training sessions at Manchester City will start at 10.30am, as late as 4.30pm outside of the winter months, or some time in between: there is no set routine. The short notice appears to be Mancini's way of preventing his players from drifting off into a fog of complacency, or in Mario Balotelli's case drifting off down Deansgate, insulated by the thought that training remains the best part of 16 hours off.
What is so "fascinating" about that "mind" and even "game"? To take all shit from his players on training sessions (now I am not surprised why they fight each other there), to make them so nervous and tired, so lets hope that they will give all of himselfs like for example Mourinho's players on the games, and lets hope that all of them don't hates theirs coach, because of his "mind" and "games" with theirs life's and careers?

Yeah, I'd much rather he was kicking football boots at his players in the dressing room leading to them requiring stitches. Much rather he was being a misogynist drunk abusing women in full view of his players because of a marketing plan.

Merry Christmas rag. Tick fucking tock.

Roberto Mancini will launch Manchester City’s 2012 title push by signing a new deal.

Mancini’s representatives have opened talks with City officials over extending the Italian’s current contract.

And the 47-year-old will become the Premier League’s highest-paid boss when he puts pen to paper on the new £5million-a-year agreement.

Mancini, who signed a three-and-a-half year deal with City when he succeeded Mark Hughes two years ago, will agree to a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2015.

Seems to me that your leader is losing the battle in the "mind games" with Bobby Manc.

Don't wait for me anything before end of the season, or least until Mancini secure BPL championship this season. Even with BPL championship, I am pissed because of his CL first round failure.
