So he's a good player, did well in training butr didn't deserve a chance when we were playing shit

Roberto Mancini: It's my fault Scott Sinclair flopped

BOSS says winger, who started just two games should leave as Man City face his former side Swansea
When asked if that might mean Sinclair deserves to play somewhere else, Mancini said: “Scott is young and he has good quality but this year was difficult for him.
“I think it is better if he can have another solution.
“If he stays here, maybe, everything can change but I can understand his frustration in this moment because he didn’t play a lot of games.
“For me, he is a good player. We have one team. For him, it was difficult.
“I repeat — he did everything well, he worked well, he is a good guy, he deserves to play.
“I can understand when one player can’t play often it is difficult.”
Sinclair’s potential exit could be part of a busy summer at Eastlands as Mancini reshapes his squad following the loss of the Premier League title to Manchester United.
The club have this week been linked with Shakhtar Donetsk’s £20million-rated Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho.
Mancini was unwilling to discuss that rumour much and expects this summer’s transfer market to be competitive.
He added: “We can talk about Fernandinho. Fernandinho is a good player but he plays for Shakhtar.
“I don’t think there are a lot of good players available around the world.
“There are also four or five top teams who want to buy good players. It could be difficult.”

Not rocket science is it?

I would say from reading these quotes that Mancini's opinion is...

"He has good qualities; he trains well and works hard and is a nice lad
...but he's not of the right quality football-wise for us."

If I were you I'd be more concerned by the headline of "MANCINI - SINCLAIR FAILURE MY FAULT" which doesn't seem to be a quote, more like a sensationalised heading to show the story in a negative light.

That's a good showing for Mancini. If any young players are being scouted or signed by the club, they can rest assured that Mancini might just decide to never play them, regardless of their quality or efforts in training.

Wasn't it 8M? Unless Mancini had no prior knowledge of the transfer, I'd say Mancini has wasted a damn large sum of money.

He knew before he came he was going to be a bit part player and said he was happy with that,he probably didn't realise just how much of a bit part player he would be.

He should have been given more of a chance in games we were winning easily,ie,Leeds,Barnsley,Villa and Newcastle at home.

Having watched the presser Mancini did say it was his fault re lack of playing time for Sinclair. Mancini has said it previously as well.

theres being a bit part player and theres not playing any part at all.

Mancini deserves a lot of stick for his treatment of Sinclair
