Re: Mancini out
if it is unclear what his signings were then there is no point speculating on it, however if yaya,aj,milner and boeteng were the clubs signings maybe we should be asking questions of our transfer policy, also if you think adebayor and especially bridge were doing a job for city you must be barking mad
onceabluealways said:I try not to be to knee jerk, but tonight was very worrying.
After the weekends results I felt we needed to build on last weeks performance then walk in 5 minutes before kick off to find hes rested half the team.
If he rest silva he might as well rest Tevez because he's half the player when silva isn't on the pitch Personally I would have started with the same team except for Boyata and Zab.
Then you look at the performance - what was Milners roll?
Why did he not even try to put AJ up against the young lad with two 6ft plus CFs on the pitch?
There looked to be no real effort, poss due to the semi but the manager should be able to drum into them the importance of both games, by resting so many players it sent a message as to which he thought was the most important.
Then his signings - This is unclear as I believe Yaya and possibly Silva, AJ , Milner and Boeteng were signed by the club - Mancini signings are Balo / Kolorov. I believe we were getting more out of Ade and bridge.
Looking at the fixtures we are probably still just favourites for fourth, but if Tevez is out for a long spell it 's worrying.
