Roberto Mancini has laughed off reports that he is willing to quit Manchester City in frustration at the club's transfer policy.

But he said: "No. It is not true. If the newspaper sells a lot of copies, I am happy for the newspaper. I never said this and I never think this."

my mate actually phoned me worried about this. Total paper bullshit. I did read the story, it said 'a source close to Mancini confirms..'

He aint stupid and he wont walk away from the club

However i can see the relatioship between him and the board reaching such a point that there is a parting of the waves

Wont happen anytime soon though - at City he is building his reputation as a top top manager where else would he go that would give him such profile and opportunty that is available

Yet the club will do nothing and the Daily Mail will continue their blatant anti-City stories throughout the year. Does creating a fictional "source close to the club" exempt them from potential legal action?

No wonder the papers print endless shit The club take the stories with total pinch of salt and Mancini is happy of they sell shit loads of papers

This positive thread about Mancini with quotes will not reach three pages, yet the other thread which the manager as totally rubbished the one written by the mail will reach 20 as the doom merchants come out along with posters who still wouldn't have Mancini, you can see reading through it with their still sly little digs.
Some people still like moaning when they have never had it so good.

i live in hope
