Mancini rubbishes walk away rumours

We should have sacked him when his piss-poor management got us knocked out of the champions league.

But one year on - no lessons learnt. He's still picking the wrong full backs, still even considering to pick the clown, still playing Yaya Toure as a holding midfielder, still mouthing off to the people who pretty much, on their money alone, have brought us so much success. And that success has come in spite of Mancini. Not because of him.

It's fucking disgraceful that, with so much money spent, with so much talent in our squad, we had to rely on goal difference, and Balotelli's suspension to win the league. And our performance in the Champions League with that same talent, that same money, was embarrassing. Especially after Mancini mouthing off to Bayern Munich about how we're gonna turn them over.

Teams like Liverpool and Southampton would be absolutely annihilated if Mancini had a clue. If we would have sacked him last year, I reckon we would have won the league by about 10 points and probably challenged for the champions league.

Yet the club will do nothing and the Daily Mail will continue their blatant anti-City stories throughout the year. Does creating a fictional "source close to the club" exempt them from potential legal action?

Legal action?? Why on earth would City even contemplate it? Mancini, in fact all Premiership managers with the exception of the late "arry" and the oily Wenger, treat the media like a nasty little rash you can't scratch.

Agreed, though it is getting squeaky bum time, what with only 108 points to play for.

Shit journalism at its shittiest. Just make something up and attribute it to "a source". Means diddly squat but they know they are fireproof because it's impossible to prove it wasn't said.

I e-mailed the Mail on Sunday reporter last week to challenge parts of his editorial. Some guy called Collins. Has he bothered to repy? Has he bollox.

Lazy bastards.

Exactly what legal action do you have in mind? Making up stories? Annoying but not illegal. We could take the baconface route which makes sense but for some reason we still want to court the media. Hence Custis giving us the benefit of his wisdom in a half time interview with Ferret last season. Madness.
