Maybe he just "left" to get another scarf from the Citystore cos his Febreeze isnt working as well now.

Still think the owners arent happy for 2 CL failures and wont risk another. Think he has still the end of the season, so all parties have time to look around. Would be a mistake to do a Chelsea and get in an "iterim" boss till the summer. Think thats why there was no transfers in in January, no point getting players if the current manager isnt going to be around long enough.

Still think we've have Mourinho in mind, as i think the owners need that next step in manager quality to succeed in the CL. Cant see him going to Chelsea now, an aging squad Mourinho knows he was 2nd choice at least to Guardiola and the current managerial rotation at Chelsea, he knows he wouldn't last long.

But if Mancini has left and didn't want to wait for the summer, then fair enough. But i think he'd want to see the season through regardless, cos the man isnt and never has been a quitter.
