IN TIMES OF THIS, I usually ask or say to people "why are you blaming the manager? its the players who are lazy and not commited"
But this time... Mancini's substiution and lack of attack and ambition has really made me start to question his ability ..

We are trying to build a top four team which like arsenal, chelsea and the scum will always be up there fighting for the top spot. It takes time and will not be instant. There was always going to be a blip when things started going wrong, it was never going to be easy. This is now our blip and once we are through this the team will be stronger and better, both mentally and physically. The second half of the season will be our strongest ever and we will really put the frightners on the top three. Just be patient and take the rough with the smooth. It is no good keeping on sacking the manager, if we do, we will never be a top four team. Simples.

Don’t really understand this developing desire to always lay everything good or bad solely at the door of the manager. It happened with Hughes and now again with Mancini. Managers are not the be all and end all.

The 11 picked last night should have been competent enough to gain a point away at Poznan. We can analyse tactics or formations all day long but it seemed that too many players didn’t perform the fundamental basics of the game. You can have the best tactics in the world but if players fail to make straight forward passes, take up poor positions or consistently pick the wrong option (something Milner in particular was guilty of) then any preparation is rendered useless.

As far as I’m concerned the players are the ones who should shoulder the criticism for last night, not the manager.
