Mancini says 'Tactics' will change.

Also doesn't explain why Ade hasn't been picked for a league match even when he has been fit.

We've had plenty of managers who have talked a good game, not least of who was our previous manager.

So when it comes to whether or not Mancini going to start playing a more attacking formation, I think I'll wait until I see it on the pitch rather than rejoicing at some soundbites he's spit forth...

But Billy, why do you want a 4-4-2? It's shit, dude.

His comments don't account for the fact that Adam Johnson was left on the bench for 70 minutes when it was obvious to anyone in the stadium he could make the difference.

Ade has only really been fit for what, 3 leauge games or so? The problem is he's been given a chance in Europe leauge games from the off prior to leauge games at the weekend and he's been that poor its difficult to include him in the starting line up. I'm as massive fan of Adebayor, i think he's an excellent striker but because of his poor performances when he's started in the Europa leauge i can sort of understand the decision to leave him out. I thought he did well on Sunday when he came on and i'm hoping he'll be starting soon enough if he carries on that kind of form

Why would Ade, our second leading goal scorer last season, who was excellent for the most part, and who played a full part in nearly all preseason games whilst everyone else was away, suddenly got demoted to the bench come the opening game of the season? He was fitter than Tevez and Silva...

Sorry, but Mancini is talking bollocks when it comes to Ade.

Let's wait and see.

Kolorov will certainly give us more penetration on the left. I don't think Boateng will, he looked pretty hopeless on the ball at the weekend.

I'd just like to see our attacking players earn their money. If we're really honest Sunday was appalling and we fluked a win.

Obviously Mancini didn't want to go 4-4-2 away from home against a side who have an excellent home form and he wasn't going to drop our best striker was he? You can't honestly blame him for going with a 4-5-1 against Spurs can you seeing as most teams who go there set up that way as they're an extremely attacking side. He then didn't start the Liverpool game for whatever reason but he's then been injured. Do you think Ade in the Europa leauge games he's started in has done enough to warrant starting the leauge game that followed, honestly?

I think I'd like to see our attacking players start a game together before I'd make a call on whether they are earning their money...;- )

That's what I mean, Billy.

We're paying the likes of Ade, AJ, SWP, SIlva and Tevez to go out and beat teams.

Get them on the park.

yes we were very lucky but we won, as i said we got out of jail so lets build from that with some decent play and lets put this fantastic squad to its proper use.

can't wait.

Chief stoker?
I'll be honest. It's comments like that which inflame posters of the less intelligent disposition to start sending nasty PM's in my direction.
Maybe you should draw a line under trying to caricature anyone who holds a point of view you don't agree with and just participate in the debates like everyone else...

Oh Billy - sooooo sensitive
