I can't help but see similarities between Mancini's reign and when Sven was manager. Lots of rumours and uncertainty well before the end of the season (admittedly far more so with Sven) We've lined up this tour of the US, which resembles that farcical tour of Thailand we had after the season ended with Sven and everyone knew he was getting the sack yet he still went out there. I would like to think even if we're out of the race for fourth our players are more professional than to do what Sven's boys did on the last day Middlesbrough! I'm exaggerating but all this rumour and counter rumour can't be good for the management or playing staff. Its just frustrating that we're set for our highest premier league finish with fourth place still to play for and yet instead of focusing on the remaining fixtures we're debating not only how happy some players are, but if the manager is even going to be here next season. Its never dull.
