Mancini vs Mourinho

I think even better Bob. No istree, no team spirit, all mercenaries, to soft on a cold night in wigan, bent referees etc.

The bent referees is the clincher

jose would have raised the profile of himself.

bob has raised the profile of the club.
Thats B.S

You dont think Mourinho raised the profile of Chelsea?

Both excellent managers.

Mourinho is a total egotist. Language skills are superb. He likes to create a bond between himself and his players often using a seige mentality at his clubs, (us against the world). Apparently he is second to none in his organisation and systematic preparation for matches. He will deceive and mislead in order to get any slight advantage much like Fergie. He seems to have been liasing with Fergie for many years with a view to taking over at OT and I would not trust him.

Mancini is more old school. More detached with his players. He tells the truth, sometimes a little too open! He doesnt get embroiled in mind games. He can be very emotional, petulant and stubborn.

SWP has had both as a coach/manager and he said Mourinho was the best he worked under even though he wasnt even picked very much at Chelsea. There must have been many players at Inter who have direct experience of both.

Personally I like Mancini better, but Mourinho may be more successful.

I think Mancini has done really well.

If he wins the league this season, up there with Mourinho's wins with Chelsea.

sorry mates, but not even close. Jose did it with Chelsea, Inter, and is now doing it with Madrid.

I love Bobby (on most days) but think Jose is still ways ahead of him. Sure, he's a fyking ego-maniac and would punch the twat if ever given the chance, but he's one hell of a manager though.
You would love Bobby if he played Dzeko more.

stupid. you would love bobby even more if touched your private parts.

games up jumamji

Mancini/City can't win.

If we win the league it's because we bought it. If we finish 2nd it'd classed as a total failure.

On the one hand they say we've got no history, no team spirit, a manager with no experience who is losing his cool yet on the other hand they say that anything less than winning the league is total failure.

Because Barcelona aren't as strong as they were. Madrid aren't leading because they're doing anything particularly great. It's that Barcelona haven't been particularly great this year in the league.

you're right ...he has won at least one title every year since 2002 because the other clubs always had bad years.

Titles:

Primera; 2003, 2004
English Prem.; 2005, 2006
FA Cup: 2007
Football League Cup; 2005, 2007
FA Community Shield; 2005
Serie A: 2009, 2010
Coppa Italie: 2010
Uefa CL: 2010
Copa del Rey: 2011

total of 13 titles.

pure luck mate.

hate when I'm made to defend a twat i don't even like, but fair is fair.

Mancini (10 in 10 years, not to be sniffed at) If you take out the community shield it's - Mourinho 12, Mancini 10 - pretty close

Serie A (3) Internazionale: 2005–06, 2006–07, 2007–08
Coppa Italia (4) Fiorentina: 2000–01
Lazio: 2003–04
Internazionale: 2004–05, 2005–06
Supercoppa Italiana (2) Internazionale: 2005, 2006
England FA Cup (1) Manchester City: 2010–11

Flippin heck didn't think he won that much. I am not a fan of his but you have to say that's an outstanding record. He has already won as many CL as Ferguson.

Probably the best manager in the world.

-- Tue Jan 17, 2012 7:08 pm --

Mourinho has won 2 CL's though and 2 PL's.

Mancini won a lot with Inter during the match fixing when most teams were weak/points deductions. I do think Mancini will prove to be a top manager, but you have to say Mourinho deserves credit.

very true. not sure why Bobby get the rap that he doesn't have experience. Look at his record. Only thing missing is a big international title; hopefully that will change in the next 2 years.
