Mancini ...what was he thinking ?

Does anyone think Balotelli still cares? The season hasn't even started and everyone is talking about Balotelli again, which suits Balotelli very well. ;)

I'm sure he's wanking himself silly to all the 'bad boy Balotelli' articles and our 80 page thread.

One thing that strikes me about many City fans' attitude towards Mario is how 'selfish' they think he is and yet what I think makes him remarkable for a player of his age and ability is how unselfish he is in a footballing sense. He always looks to pass the ball to a team mate which for a skillful attacking player of 20 is completely untypical and dare I say it, mature.

No kidding ;)
Which match (vs Vancouver?) was it that on the left flank, he crossed across the box & behind the opponent CBs, and was narrowly missed by our linkup players?

one thing that has always stood out for me is the fact mancini has taken a certain risk with mario and i can imagine he had to tackle the board to buy him as well considering his attitude.

mancini has taken him under his wing to teach him the game to have respect you see it week in week out in training and in matches how he looks to make this lad the class player he should become time now i believe for mario to start paying back the faith the manager has put in him.

should have waited till half time

I guess giving him a public dressing down was the whole point.

Pretty funny to think that, despite the squeals of protest from some corners, perhaps Mancini was actually being cautious and polite last year. And now he's feeling a bit ballsy.

You wouldn't want to mess, would you?

he expects professionalism... however it was just a friendly?
I reckon he wants Mario to kick on. Even as a fan I can admit, for such a natural talent, and a player who has been on the scene for four years, he takes far too many bad touches and wastes opportunities by failing to make the right moves. I guess he won't develop properly unless he's totally focused... and that means being focused every minute of every training session and every game.

he definitely though he was offside, there's no question about it IMO.

mancini, although i'm very fond of him, made a grave mistake in taking mario off.
