Bottom line for me is that Bob has assembled a hugely unbalanced squad that is pretty much devoid of any pace whatsoever.

Have you forgotten that more or less the same hugely unbalanced squad won the title ten months ago?

Then why are we 12 points behind with the Rags having a game in hand against Reading?

Sadly an awfull lot is Mancinis fault... we can all be sentimental and keep mancini, or you can say thanks, move on and bring someone with a stronger personality..

the biggest problem i have with Mancini is that its never his fault. Its always an excuse, the ref... blame some players, then blame the board for not letting him sign who he wasts.. etc.. someone who is to stubborn to learn from his own mistakes, or worse, to arrogant to even notice his own mistakes, its only ever going to end with him being shown the door..

The problem is that there do seem to be a lot of supporters who are now offering up the excuses on his behalf.

We all had a pop at that bastard Ferguson last week because he never bothered after Madrid to come out.

thats why were fans and not managers... some seem unable to be objective when it comes to City. Id have loved Mancini to come out defiant in the post match interview.. even seeing him lose it shows me he wasnts this job, he looks like he couldnt care less at time's. almost as if his reputation is all he cares about, and city are making him look bad...

He knew that he would asked about his team selection today and knew that he had no answer to that fucking kolarov clichy disaster.

Spot on Rammy.
Only ever last summer that's brought up regarding transfers.
Outfielders brought in by Bob (correct me if I've missed any):

Yaya Toure
David Silva
James Milner
Gael Clichy
Sergio Aguero
Matija Nastasic

How many of them can we say were/are real successes? I don't just mean "were part of a title-winning squad" success either. I say around 50%.

To add to that, very few fit into the system that he wants to play too.

Just the ones I have left in your post by my reckoning.

Things are never as cut and dried as they look. Trying to take nothing away from the accomplishment cos it was one of the greatest days of my life, but 'won us the title' or had it handed to him by the biggest choke job in Prem history only to very nearly balls it up at home to relegation candidates?

This applies to the entire midfield, inside and out. No width, no pace. No wonder then, that there is never an effective Plan B, when needed.

What plan B do Barca or Madrid have???

We should not be aspiring to play caveman football with wingers as soo many want.

Yes, by all means, let's continue to run headfirst into parked buses for 90 minutes.

Well once again City manage to serve up the kind of aimless drivel to infuriate the manager, and displease the owners ... and if he gets away with it this season Mancini will be a very lucky boy indeed !
