A manager's job is to get the best out of his team both collectively and on an individual level. Apart from the first few months of last season, not even the most ardent Mancini fan can genuinely say he's come even close to doing that.

You Mancini homers can blame "lack of transfers" this summer all you want, the reality is he has one of the most talented and stacked teams in Europe, and the level to which he's failing with it is shocking. The fact that we could well finish around TWENTY points behind the rags this season is an embarrassing disgrace. That the only defence Mancini fanboys have of him is essentially " our players (one's HE bought) aren't good enough. Give him another £100m pounds for more (to fix all the problems HE created)" says it all. The guy is useless.

We play boring, unimaginative football (considering the world class players we've got and what we saw they're capable of as a team the first few months of last season), we won the title last year on goal difference after falling 8 points behind in the final stretch, we're epic failures in Europe, and if anything, we're going backwards. Been saying this for months, he's a legend and will always be remembered for what he did, but he has to go.

that's not my decision is it.....i stated that numerous teams have gone on to be stronger, so the old square 1 rule does not apply

add to that we are rooted in the top 4 of one of the best leagues in the world and have one of the biggest financial backers in the world....we can only go one way.
