How do you know it is ?

Do you have contacts as well - and do yours tell you he's deffo staying then?
Or are you just posting that cos you want it to be bollox?
Just like all Tolmies previous musical teasers, they never materialise into anything just think back re all the superstar signings that didn't happen....Bollox, come back Ajay i say!

As someone else said...he has posted so many ambiguous music videos over the years that he is sure to get one right sooner or later and claim the superstar ITK status that he so desperately craves. He's the Mystic Meg of Bluemoon although she probably got many more predictions right.

We went for players but couldn't sell whcih prevented us buying. What's so hard to get.

He called the Redknapp exit and he called Balotelli not long back before people were on the same path. Zin even made money from it.

This thread is about Mancini, not posters and we should keep on task.

Mancini should go. He's not getting the best out the team and that's not acceptable.

Spot on mate. Was almost crying with laughter at that one.

Anyway... Mancini....

Keep him :)

I see similar comments like that on here quite a bit. Do these people genuinely feel this "anger and shame"?

Whenever I read comments like that I imagine some loser, in a City shirt, on his own, with his brow furrowed and his bottom lip out. Nothing and nobody else in his life but his beloved City, and he's blind with rage at those of us who he sees as betraying his team, of which he believes he is part of.

Think of that geezer smashing his shirt on the seat just before Sergio equalises. He's one. Angry, stubborn, downtrodden.... ;-)

Tolm's record is a solid 7/10. He's got stuff wrong, but he gets a lot right.

Actually pal, Mario stuff was my own, that was quite obvious!

As for our kids credibility who gives a fuck, he certainly doesn't, do people actually think he loses any sleep if some info which was passed to him in good faith doesn't materialise????
Oh woah is tolm bla bla fucking bla - the issue i take is those who quite clearly (a) believe him to make up stuff for status and (b) direct insults without knowing the guy......... As i've stated on many many occasions, if someone wants to get personal then have the decency to do it 'in person' - Tolms a shitbag so i'm free!!!!!

Going back to Mancini and his potential impending departure. It's going to take some doing for the owners and powers that be to sack a manager who retains so much blind faith support amongst our supporters. Hell of a statement from them.

On the revisionist nature of Bluemoon - it seems that people have decided that wanting Mancini out is the same as saying he's definitely going.

It's not blind faith though is it Billy. Mancini has done enough to warrant the support he has from the majority of City fans - his end results so far have justified the means.
Many of us accept that all is not rosey in the garden and there are aspects of his management that need improving, but we also accept that he's had his successes, and so far they outnumber the failures.
It all comes down to your own interpretation of what constitutes success. I've no doubts that while there are still many blues who would be content with a few years of domestic domination and not worry about the CL, our owners would very much not - the way the game has developed means that the CL is now the be all and end all and my own view is if Mancini is here next season and fails to improve on our last two outings he is gone.
This doesn't make me a raving lunatic who knows nothing about the game - just a blue who is so far content with what our great club is becoming and trusts the new owners to do what's right when the time comes.

TH , Do you think BM "possible" departure could be earlier than the end of the season
ie if we lose to Chelsea and have nothing to play for , or will be revealed after the last game ?

I'd be hugely disappointed if Mancini went, but given the investment and progress we've made as a club under the stewardship of the people at the helm, I'd have to trust their judgement.

He'll always be a legend to me for guiding us to that league win, something I never thought I would live to see, let alone in that fashion.

Another post mentions the Italy job. That and Juventus are possibly the only two jobs I could see him leaving us for. If he got pushed, then I'm sure he'd pitch up wherever an appropriate opportunity arises.

I was speaking to a City employee a couple of weeks back and he told me, contrary to some things we have read, that Mancini is very popular at City and very likeable. He is supposedly nothing like his "in front of the press" persona (probably as you'd expect). He also, apparently, rates winning the league with City his proudest football achievement.

Now whether that was club employee towing party line or not is I guess open to debate, but I've no reason to disbelieve it.

I genuinely think Mancini "gets us" - whatever that may be :) - and could build a real legacy. However, if Tolmie is correct, it looks like that won't be the case.

Glad to see someone's keeping the books on him.
Speaking of which I just glanced at Oddschecker. It's remarkable. They are laying odds on who will be the first poster on page 1000 of the Mancini thread! Here is the early market:

6/4 Didsy Dave or Billy (equal favourites). Both have the form on the board. Bred to stay a long distance. Can handle all conditions.

2/1 NipHolmes. Known for his tenacity in a tight finish. Never gives up. Big hearted but lacks experience. One to watch over time.

7/2 Seosa. Known for coming with a late run near the finishing line. A wilful colt who needs restraint on occasions. Perhaps needs gelding.

4/1 Skashion. Sets a steady pace. Can stay all day if ridden the right way.

9/2 Strongbowaholic. Has a mind of his own. Tends to veer off the track under pressure. Needs restraint on occasion.

6/1 Waspish. Has youth on his side. Can maintain the pace. Needs to be well lubricated to get the best out of him.

8/1 Pam. This mare is strong of mind and has been known to throw the odd lightweight jockey. Regarded as a dark horse.

20/1 David Cameron. Known rather as a middle of the pack type. When hit with the whip tends to go slower. Not fancied at this stage.

66/1 Bacon Face. Turns up at the wrong track all the time. Has horsey dementia. No hope.

100/1 the rest. Take your pick.
