everybody has a different take on this, but dont City fans deserve to know ?

I guess there is always a bit of uncertainty. mancini could still fuck up and prove to be a lemon in this league, but, for me the signs are that, short of that, he is likely to be in a job next year. I've heard all the rumours about us 'having someone lined up' (whatever that means) for the summer when we chose mancini, but as long as he gets good results, shows solid progress, and charms the fans, he is making it harder and harder for them to dump him and go after someone else who might come with their own problems. I would be very, very suprised if he was dumped despite winning us to a cup/finishing the top four, no matter who they might have talked to, they would need a damn good reason to make it three managers in three years, and as I keep saying, unless Mancini had disappointed, they'd have to be absolutely 100% certain they had him before they made their move, or risk a public humiliation and a lesser candidate.

the chairman and cheif exec seem to have come down on mancini's side, but they can't publicly promise him the job while it still could go tits up, so they are backing him off the record and keeping their options open.

well if mancini was pushed away at the end of the season i could see him settling in quite well in juventus
