Mancini's Italian job

The bad news:
I believe Mancini would jump at the chance to manage Italy. I feel he would leave us for 2 jobs, maybe 3, only. Of those 3 the Juve and Italy jobs are the biggest threats. The other is Sampdoria but not sure he would go there right now.

The good news:
Italy will win the Euros and keep Pirandelli. Actually, even if they lose out they will likely keep Pirandelli due to the progress he has made with them. Only humiliation would see him go I reckon.

In terms of Juve, I'm not sure he'd go there just now given the new match fixing allegations rocking Italy.

Need to tie him down with a 5 year deal right now, imho.

I think Madrid and Barca are the two biggest threats if they ever came knocking for Mancini.

Why the fuck would anyone even bother to make this thread, what a way to give everyoe nightmares when Italy underperforms.... Unless you're a closet Mancini Outer still!

I fear he would be tempted, due to the fact that it would allow him to spend more time with his father who isn't in the best of health these days.

I think the way City have acted in relation to Mancini's dad is pretty impressive in itself, and he might not have had that sort of flexibility even from an Italian team. City have given him a lot of leeway to travel to Italy to be with him during the last 18 months or so. IIRC the line from Khaldoon was that the owners entirely understood and respected his desire to be with his Dad as much as possible, and would have considered it less impressive if he had tried to soldier on at City without wanting to care for his Dad. I know a job with Juve etc would be just up the road, metaphorically speaking, but they could scarcely do more to accommodate RM than City have done.

There were some nice pictures of Mancini and his dad on the pitch after the QPR game. Nice touch.

This thread is utterly pointless and wants to taking down.

It is a slight worry however the only way Bobby will leave is that he doesn't meet our owners expectations.

The despicable Jeremy Cross of the Star says he may be quitting as his wife hates the north west and wants to move home. Cross is the worst of the worst though and wrote a dozen "dressing room in revolt" stories last season so this has a good chance of being made up by the club sources in his bitter brain.
