Is there a tiny chance the he could be our 4th CB next season if Sané leaves?
Next to no chance. He would have gone on tour and be training with the team now if there was any possibility of him being viewed as an emergency option.
Fernandinho, Garcia and probably now Harwood-Bellis will all be ahead of him in the pecking order.
He's sorting out his future right now, which is why he isn't with the squad. He can still leave abroad after next week when the English transfer market shuts.
I'm very confident Mangala will not be here in a few weeks time and I wouldn't be surprised to see us get a small fee for him.
