12 years - 10 managers all of which would obviously do better with the squad of players and previous investment.
3 title winning managers sacked
7 other managers sacked.
In that time as we all know they haven't won the CL so all those managers are classed as failures there over the short term.

In the chase for the champions league Real in their madness have managed to do the following.
Firstly the total madness of Getting rid of Del Bosque 2 titles 2 CL in 4 seasons
12 years - 10 managers all of which would obviously do better with the squad of players and previous investment.
3 title winning managers sacked
7 other managers sacked.

I know some of it is political but it's also down to instant success/failure
Despite Real having bought the best available players all those managers haven't been able to bring short term success. Would they have done it if left to manage the squad over a longer period we will never know.
What we do know is depsite having some of the best managers at the time including world cup, league title and previous CL winning managers and having the best squad of players available anywhere in world football none of them could do it over one or two seasons and that up until now includes the present special one.
Some people on here appear to think we should be doing something similar because of the squad of players we have.
Which is get rid of the current manager not because of his abilty to manage but because of the players available top him he should be doing better short term without finding out if he can actually achieve with the squad of players he has assembled.
They have been doing just that without success at Real Madrid because of the investment in the squad short term.
How many more years will they give Mourhino if he fails to deliver the CL this season.
I'd say if he fails this year and next season he will be gone and it will be because of the players available to him short term not on how good he is or more than likely would be over a longer period.
How long would people on here give Mourhino as manager if he failed to win the title in the short term 1 or 2 years 3 maximum before they called for a change. The way I read threads on here some days I'd say 2 and he'd be asked to be on his way because of the investement in the squad.
I still call it the madness at Real and it appears to me some would have us going down the same route.
It hasn't worked there in line with the money spent and I'm almost sure it wouldn't work for us either.

TBH I was more interested in the 6 games that we've come from behind to win.
