Our Champions League campaign this season wasn't good enough, neither domestic Cup has been won (an out of form Liverpool might win both), we threw away a 5 point lead in the Premiership, had a player refuse to warm up and had another been unable to resist his aggressive playing style despite chance after chance.
Mancini has lots to improve on next season. I'd be disturbed if he didn't agree that we can improve. Deeply disturbed.
Nice try, to take this short line out of context.
in any other year we would go to the latter stages with the 10 points we got.
Look as a team we have progressed every year. its not our divine right to win the title this year. and the players are equally to blame if we dont.
Progression is joint 2nd (their words) to outright 2nd? Not for me. And we won a trophy last season! Will be lift one this time round? If not then... I'll be back.
Champions League - Didn't qualify from the group
FA Cup - Knocked out in the 3rd round
Carling Cup - Easy run until the Semi's and then a no show at home to Liverpool
Not good enough!!!
Champions League - went out with 10 points which is highly irregular
FA Cup - Kompany wrongly sent off after about 10 minutes
Carling Cup - bin dippers wrongly awarded penalty in the 2nd leg.
