Unless you're in the inner circle there's no way of knowing how a loan transpires.

Their DoF has said that he phoned up and requested the players. The way he said it made it clear that this was not the normal procedure.

Agree entirely. We have done well with those two clubs and Celtic over recent years but then whenever loans get discussed you get this clamour to send players to lower level premier league clubs with comments like what is the point sending player A to x, y and z club / league that isn’t good enough for our future stars. It’s a difficult balance to get right. I would go as far as to say we don’t send our players out to clubs far enough down the leagues and we also don’t look to move them on fast enough. Should we have sold Denayer by now? Should we have sold Jack Bryne in the summer?
 
Was on the bench today for the first(?) time for their first team. Didnt get subbed in though.
 
He looks the type of player who does better when playing alongide better players in higher standard leagues. That's a good sign. It means he can improve.
 
Strange that he hasn't had much playing time but then we never see what's going on behind closed doors.

They're a struggling side too so probably wary about gambling on an on-loan central midfielder.
