The potential injury crisis is always a worry but my PTSD is seeing Akanji on the pitch.

Just can’t have 6 senior central defenders, the squad limits just don’t lend itself to that many.

I know it's ridiculous. He has been a top player. People have got short memories. At one time we were in Division 3.

I agree completely about the lack f appreciation shown and negativity. But I don't think that means we should keep. Its a bit like when Laporte left . He had done a fantastic job for us and had played through pain to see us over the line.
But there are limited spaces at the back and we have too many central defenders, I think Akanji going with our best wishes would be in the interests of him and the club.
