We can but trythat'll never catch on !
We can but trythat'll never catch on !
We used to and we were the best team in England. They don’t have to be costly just good and ready to playInjuries can happen to anyone any time doesn’t mean we have entire 11 ready on bench
Google is your friend. Try typing; guehi pride armbandDidn't know that happened tbh. Can you provide link/info if poss please?
Nunes-Stones-Akanji-Gvardiol defence started vs Arsenal away last season and we lost 5-1.Akanji is a far better defender than Lewis and Nunes. Forcing him to leave before securing a RB may be a mistake. In big games, Lewis is a firm No, whereas Nunes might do a job or invite problems. Who is going to play RB against Arsenal in 3 weeks? Khusa is an option, but has barely played in that position.

The game was fairly even before Foden's mistake gifted them the 2nd goal and the whole team collapsed after that.
But the point is different: neither Lewis nor Nunes are good options at RB in big games. Akanji would be a better option, as he's a proper defender and played at RB in the Treble season. Maybe Khusanov will be played at RB, but he will need time to learn the position.
Akanji is a fairly serviceable right back, he’s probably the best right back defensively at the club (Stones can no longer play there realistically) but the worst centre back defensively of the 6 currently in the squad.
Khusanov was fine today, Stones was OK until Khusanov got booked, and Nunes had a brain fart shortly after, Stones was going off until Khusanov took that knock. Dias again a bit of a shambles for me.Given how our CBs were in the last 2 games
It is virtually the same whether we start Rico, Nunes or Manuel. For example, Manuel started as RB in the FA Cup final and the goal came from his side. He also almost famously fucked up in the CL final, before bailed out by Eddie. He is no better than the utterly lambasted Rico/Nunes.Akanji is a far better defender than Lewis and Nunes. 100% this. Far too much silliness said about Akanji in recent weeks imo. I don’t think Dias has been any better than him whatsoever in the last 12-18 months and agree with you, Akanji is the best right back option at the club. You’d certainly rather have him against Vini Jr away in Madrid in a few weeks than Lewis or fucking Nunes.
Would you fuck. I’d have Khus, like when he pocketed him last year. You’d certainly rather have him against Vini Jr away in Madrid in a few weeks than Lewis or fucking Nunes.

Just one of a number of posts from you that are questionable.Replacing trash with garbage ain't gonna do a thing.
Agree totally mate keep him and play him RB every week.Akanji is a far better defender than Lewis and Nunes. Forcing him to leave before securing a RB may be a mistake. He's pretty slow, offers nothing going forward and isn't averse to making a few defensive howlers as well. Probably wouldn't be any worse than our 2 current options but I doubt he'd be much of an improvement either.I would play him at right back.
It’s mad what is going in at city atm.
Rico and Nunes fighting over the right back position, both aren’t up to it, and City are trying to push Akanji out, who could do a job for us at right back.
