Still think we'll win the title. With Bony, Yaya, Mangala, Nasri to come back, plus Aguero and Kompany still not fully fit. This team is going to hit form, and some teams are going to get an absolute hammering.

Agreed. Bony and Aguero together will be something special. Bony is similar to Aguero in that he can play on the shoulder or drop deeper to collect the ball and feed those running off him. He will also rough up defenders and the two of them will be so difficult to mark. If we can start getting first time crosses in and improve at corners he will be such a big threat. Our squad is looking excellent with his addition. Fernando and Fernandinho also showed what they can do in big games for the second time this season. They've done it in Rome and at the Bridge and if Fernando in particular can start to show consistency we have a very good player. I think he's been shocked at the constant pace of the league. He needs to learn that teams throughout the league will all be able to show that stamina in the midfield and he can't switch off for a minute. Mangala had an excellent run of games with the ever solid Demichelis and Kompany will hopefully settle into the side again over the next few games - he looked a bit rusty against Chelsea.

All in all it looks good. I wouldn't have wanted Cuadrado here but he fits into the counter attacking Chelsea that Mourinho aims for. When you look at their squad though Schurrle had goals in him, Cuadrado's record isn't great. With the Champions League to play for and I think they'll beat PSG, they will have some real tests and generally the quality of squad wins in the end. The rags have showed that over the years through rotating their team and keeping it fresh. Chelsea's first 11 can't do it without support and Mourinho doesn't seem to trust a lot of that squad. Liverpool nearly did it with a weaker squad but I think, as with last season we will win through.

Very likely. But its avoiding the occassional unexpected dropped points that will be the key for us. No more Burnley, West Ham or Stoke performances. 7 wins and a draw (at Liverpool) from our next 8 games and we will win the league. Even if they're all scruffy one goal affairs.

Bony will hopefully be the buffer for Aguero that Dzeko/Negredo were last season, doing all the physical work so Aguero can do what he does best - the rest.

I agree with the above posts.

Once Bony partners Aguero and Yaya comes back we ill start naming 4s and 5s in again, yes we will concede a few but our confidence should be up with us scoring more goals.

I think Pellegrini has toget a plan together for the rest of the season, 5 points can be brought back but one bad error and we could go 8 points behind and for me that's when it will start to look to big of a task.

I think all excuses have to stop from here on out. We need to put a marker down and really show our ability. No more errors – no 2-0 up draws, no sloppy goals conceded or silly mistakes. We have to go to Stoke and win. We might not have done that for a while, but we are so much better than them man for man we have to go and win there. We have to go and win at Anfield too.

Our squad is top quality and we have a variety of attacking and defensive players to ensure we get the right results. Getting towards the end of the season there’s no World Cup, nothing for the players to concern themselves with other than winning the league and doing what it can in the CL.

A positive is definitely that Yaya and Bony are soon to come back. Nasri is also soon to be back and Kompany is playing again. The main positive for me is Aguero. He normally takes a few games to get up and running but you could see at Chelsea he is back – the ball was sticking to him, he was weaving this way and that and he was causing the Chelsea players so many headaches. I also think Fernando and Fernandinho gave Matic and Ramires a good fight in the middle and were buzzing all over the park. If Fernando takes that mentality into every game to the end of the season we will have a very good player. I think he’s lacked concentration at times and thought he would get away with not tracking players – you don’t at this level.

Our defending has to seriously buck up for us to keep the title or progress in the CL.
Far too many needless goals being coincided this season and Pellers seems to be be ignoring it.
Not too bad when you're scoring 2+ goals a game but when we're not scoring it's killing us.

he will be sacked. the teams we have lost or dropped points to at home to this season, in all competitions, was unacceptable even when we were complete shit. A lost season dating back to the summer. Gone backwards in every facet of the game.
