As in everyone dismissed the team for being shite, questioned everything and everyone after each of them; getting knocked out of 2 domestic competitions by inferior teams at home and throwing away leads and generally not playing well.
Just like you said people were ready to give up on the team after Sunderland last season and many did the same countless times as aforementioned this season?
The point being it's been happening all too often this season and people have genuine reason to wish to wave that little white flag they have.
Open your eyes and read the post in it's most obvious form instead of seeing something that isn't there.
Does "Poor Pellegrini" get your sympathy?
People can wave as many white flags as they want. I could care less. I was merely pointing out that we seem to have an awful lot of white flag wavers. If you want to equate that to the team and management you go right ahead. But since they managed to turn around bigger deficits in both their previous title wins I'm not quite at the station marked white flag.
Equate what to the team and management? People getting pissed off?
You do realize people are pissed off with the team's performances and the manager's decisions so of course they're heavily related.
And the "awful lot of white flag wavers" is more than likely proportional to the amount of times we have been way below standard this season; the aforementioned games speak for themselves.
You said today and the thread was similar to Sunderland last year and what happened at the end of the season. Well, responses like that are eerily similar to those in response to losing against Arsenal, dropping a 2 goal lead at home to Burnley, dropping 2 points at Everton, getting beaten by bloody Stoke at home as they're written off as "one of those days". Been an accumulative "one of the weeks" by now.
Akin to how United were due an injury or two or of getting found out in 2013, how Chelsea have been due mass injuries since the beginning of the season. How people are adamant to believe something is going to happen so much that they lose sight of reality.
Also, it's "couldn't care less" If you could care less then you give at least a tiny fuck.
