Many City at Blackpool without tickets? and what was it like

One of the best away weekends ever. Pleasure Beach Sat afternoon, Akash curry house early eve, the pub under the Tower with the 50 year old pole dancer (North East Blues Mal tribute on the screen) grandson of ex City captain getting his oats, being warned for singing Colin Bell song in Wetherspoons (and 2 chavs overheard saying "we can take them"...there were 6 of us !!) too much beer, Old Bridge blue pub pre game watching bin dippers terminal decline, fantastic support and no bother the whole weekend.
Same time next season please !!

What was with the two police vans blocking the road, forcing everyone into a ridiculous bottleneck. That is definitely an accident waiting to happen. Some bloke behind me shouted to a copper on a horse. "is that just bad parking or are you a bunch of idiots' Which i thought was funny.

Thought the same. It was crazy crushing both sets of fans together going in opposite directions. Good job there was no one looking for trouble there. Got one or two comments but all fairly light hearted banter. Said something to one of the coppers about the strategic parking of their vans and he just gave me an icy stare. Blackpool fans were saying the same so it's obviously not normally like that.

Cracking day out. Loved it. Proud of all blues for a rousing rendition of "Malcolm, Malcolm Allison". My very first trip to Bloomfield Road was in the Mercer/Allison days.
