To get the best out of Grealish you should stump up for Cucu but I fear it may be too late. Apparently Barca have had another cash injection today or by end of week, they may take Cucu instead of Alonso as better long term option. I dont doubt that your club dont want to pay what they think are over the odds for him but as an outsider I seriously think he is the missing piece of your jigsaw. No issue or beef with you at all and no need for a PM. I just don't agree that City have handled the attempted transfer poorly as you state. I dont understand your reasoning for such a statement? We just differ in our opinion and conclusions.

You're perfectly entitled to your opinion. No issue with that at all. What I have an issue with is that you seem to be singling me out for my assumptions/calls, while plenty of other posters are also indulging in "2+2=5" comments. If you want to criticise me, fine. You won't be the first, or the last. But be consistent, that's all I'm asking. Is that unreasonable? Pep doesn’t set the budget, same as Txiki doesn’t. Though I’m sure if Pep wanted it enough he’d push for it to happen. He‘s probably happy as long as he gets a left back.
