The transfer market in football has been crazy for years and years. I can name loads of transfers where one thought crazy money. Ending in a bargain or a total misfit.

You can only judge the worth of a transfer sum after the player leaves and you can look back to what he has done for the club.

It’s actually funny to run through City transfers and judge if the money paid was justified.

It's not the walking away, it's the persisting when it was clear that City's max was nowhere near what was required. Anywho, agree entirely that that fee is crazy - Boehly really does have cash burning holes in his pockets atm
