Absolutely spot on there mate.

We all know City have an endless purse and use it to buy any player we want.

It’s why we offered Sanchez much higher wages than United to join us. Same as we outbid United in order to overpay on Maguire and Fred.

Chelsea thought they signed Jorginho until Sheikh Mansour slapped his wallet on the table. I’m also buzzin with Jesus and Sterling signing new deals on massively increased wages aswell.

Come to think of it, fuck knows why we signed Haaland when we used the endless pit of money to buy Harry Kane last summer.

However, in the real world, Talkshite are full of shit and you’re a moron for blindly believing what they say.
 
My perception is that Cucu wants to leave Brighton , City would be a dream move for almost any player. Personal terms agreed.

Brighton don’t really want to sell , if they are forced to they want a big sum. Cucu thinks the club want too much for him. City don’t want to pay Brighton’s asking price.

And that’s the jist of the saga.

In a market in Spain once I saw a little figure that I wanted. I'm a terrible negotiater and really wanted it, so the guy gave a high price and I had the money out of my wallet while my girlfriend, who speaks a bit of Spanish, was trying to knock him down. You could see the glee in his eyes as he pointed to me. I imagine that's how half this forum would be me. The other half would be walking away if the first phone call didn't produce a signing.

It always baffles me how open City have been about their goals and plans, that the initial big outlay was an investment to establish City as a top team with great facilities and women's and youth teams, and that ultimately the investment would produce a club that balances the books and even turns a profit. This hasn't been hidden, but because the media don't pay attention they have misunderstood every stage of the project.

The powers that be have obviously had a nudge from @Ric telling them to drag this one out.
Getting our main targets in nice and early without any fuss doesn't pay for his exotic holidays, there needs to be at least one transfer that goes to the wire and sends the forum doolally if the lifestyle he become accustomed is to continue.
