Cucu transfer request yes! Hopefully this results in something. Kane didn’t hand a request in did he?

Nope. I think Kane weighed it up, and knowing that Levy was not going to budge under any circumstances (the £150 million figure was just another way of saying fuck off), he didn't fancy the flak from fans from it.
This is a rather different kettle of fish. Hope that City will stump up what he'll lose in bonuses, if there's any truth to this (brown envelope, registered mail, postmarked Abu Dhabi…)

Modern day t'internet journo. Throws enough shit until some of it sticks and then he is seen as an ITK. Then he goes a little further and adds a semi decent photoshopped pic for all the numpties and international fanboys to believe in.
You honestly believe he just made this up re cucurella? Risking his multi million pound business in the process. His agent has clearly been feeding him info throughout the whole saga

People have an irrational hate for him it’s dumb. This is his job. He is the king aggregator and he has connections but also nabs stuff off people who has info before him. It is what it is. Who cares. He provides information and he’s one of the more reliable. 10m people count on him for it.
People on here have a very weird relationship to transfer gossip full stop. It's gossip about a pretty specific business culture with loads of moving parts and political maneuvering, with journalists reporting rumours but also being fed competing claims from competing individuals. People expect it to be this high minded, always right form of journalism - it isn't! And if you're on this part of the board you clearly get a kick out of it, so just enjoy it for what it is. My old man doesn't give a shit about any of this stuff - he was legit pleasantly surprised when Haaland signed because the second the season finishes he stops paying attention.

What realistic difference does a transfer request make and how much do we reckon he'd be giving up in bonuses?
A chunk of money but probably made up on an improved contract and bonuses at City. It's more about applying public pressure to Brighton, giving their reputation a bit of a kicking for players in the dressing room and who are thinking of signing, and generally causing a bit of a fuss. It's about everything the lad can do to signal that he wants this.
