Marc Cucurella

Only in Blooms universe is Cucurella worth £50m plus…. He probably wouldn’t have demanded that fee from another club, City quite obviously don’t rate the player at £50m, I can’t see any other club in world football right now offering £50m. So is he worth £50m…. ? To Bloom maybe, but he won’t find anyone to match that valuation - a player is ultimately worth what someone else is prepared to pay and right now NO ONE is paying £50m for Cucurella. We should eave our best offer on the table £40m plus add one and let the agent get to work on getting his client the move he wants. I honestly think if we bid £50m in used fivers tomorrow that show boater Bloom would turn it down and leak all the details to the press. Bloom is high on the attention… he’s a small time crook who’s made it big… but ultimately he’s a South Coast George Reynolds…..
The player is worth far more than 50m to us.

Brighton DONT WANT or NEED to sell.

The last sentence is 100% correct so it appears Brighton would sell at 50m, so would you agree there is only one price?

So we pay or go?
I think there are 2 prices at this moment in time, the one we are prepared to pay and the one Brighton will sell at.

We are not in any position to dictate a price, that's the point I am making.

They don't want to sell, just like we don't want to sell Bernardo.

I’m amazed that the vast majority who post on the transfer thread have not been snapped up by premier league teams their expertise on the running of transfer dealings is outstanding and their financial acumen is second to none

Are you also amazed that the vast majority who post in the player thread are not professional players?

What about those who post on the politics thread not being politicians?

Or those in the match day thread not being professional coaches?

At the end of the day this is a fans forum where people will share their opinions. Surely, the whole concept of a forum is to do just that.

All we achieved yesterday was to demonstrate our need for a top quality left back is urgent.
What we achieved yesterday was fast tracking our match fitness for our first team.

Cancelo is not a natural lb , however he did ok against the hardest player in Salah he will face all season

What Cucu would bring is a Balance and what Pep does prefer is players playing on their natural side in defence. One of the reasons he prefers the switch playing ability of Laporte

Tony Bloom must just look Txiki in the eye during negotiations and say , you paid 100m for Grealish, and I am not sure Txiki has any answer other than paying what Bloom wants.
How much do you think grealish has made for his club commercially? I would imagine it’s a hefty sum on shirt sales and merch. He needs to play with more freedom or he will not reach the heights he should be .
