The state of this thread. Let me tell you all now. Cucurella is staying at Brighton and I've had it confirmed by someone close to him, that I also know.

It's a nice dream for him and his family, but its coming at the wrong time for them.

He moved to Brighton with a 2 week old baby last year and he and his wife are settled now and she don't want to pack up and move up North where there is no beach, and in her words "agujero de mierda".

He is happy playing for Brighton and will re visit his options next season.

Oh, and some of you need to give your head a wobble thinking you can just point at a player and get him. The arrogance stinks and make you look more tinpot then the Reds, and that takes some doing.

Who needs a beach when she can hang out at Picadilly Gardens smoking spice with this lot instead?

To the man city fans slightly off topic but i know u want to win everything, but is the Champions league more of a priority over the premier.

For most fans I would say PL every time mate, although it would be nice to win the CL occasionally, just to shut the knobheads who change the goal posts all the time so they can continue to dismiss us as ever being a great side.

The PL is always the priority from my perspective - it’s the real test of the best team in the country, with all the random pot luck of cup draws out of the equation.

Everyone plays everyone - home and away - and the best team wins. It’s non-negotiable - and winning it never gets old!

Having said that, we’ve never won the CL - and that’s a monkey we need to get off our back at some point. For a lot of our fans, ticking that box is becoming more important than adding another League to the list.

Not for me though. It’s a nice to have - nothing more.

I fuckin despise posts that end like this, you’ve got more than your fair share of fuckin whoppers pal, a far higher fuckin percentage than our true fan base I’ll bet, shown that at the back end of the covid season for what they really are.

If you’d have left it at that with the rest of your post I’d have been in full agreement, but those last little fuckin digs are tedious and fuckin tiresome and spoil what otherwise was a good amd balanced post.

Older fans (50+), mainly PL in the vast majority. 30-50, pretty mixed, I should imagine. Under 30s, the CL. Purely impressionistic assessment, naturally.
Very old fans: getting 40 points and avoiding the drop.
