Solutions plural.
If Palace can get 25-35m for him now rather than fuck all in 6 months, they’ll bite our hands off.I can’t see palace selling him mid season.
When Dias and Gvardiol are fit, which they will be at some point does he even start for us?
Posters will say we need a big squad, but we rarely ever rotate (hence all the injuries with a few players)
It’s all down to the signing on fee for me. If Guehi allows it to be added to his wage, it’ll get done.If Palace can get 25-35m for him now rather than fuck all in 6 months, they’ll bite our hands off.
Never have I seen such a ‘please bid for our player’ plea from a club than those Glasner quotes
Must be a hard decision though.Palace basically admitting that they'll sell this month.
Sounds like we just need to get the offer right.
Can only imagine we've been pushing strong with him and his agent.
I think given the circumstances we will probably throw money at him in either wages or signing on fee.Must be a hard decision though.
Guehi knows he can wait 6 months and the pocket £25m in a signing on fee, or get substantially less now.
Most people would wait it out and take the money.
It’s not a bargain. We’ve had to pay a premium because we’re out of defenders.I think given the circumstances we will probably throw money at him in either wages or signing on fee.
If Palace only want £35m for him thats bargain considering the player and market...
Every penny Palace get is a penny less for him - really depends what he is willing to give up by not waiting … Not unless Palace are happy with a relatively nominal sum and a player exchange ….
Time after time I keep reading posts on here. That are not in the real world it's not fantasy football. We cant have 4 players for every defensive position.Reactive? How the hell could you predict 3 top class CBs being injured at the same time and still have Ake/Khusa fit???
How many defenders do you expect us to have on the books, paying 6 figure weekly wages and keeping happy, at the same time??
40m deal gets done. Even at that in today's market that's an absolute steel for an English CB
He has a good chance to get the starting spot with no injuries. Especially if Gvardiol ends up back at fullback once he returns from his lay off.He has a good chance of playing over Dias consistently. His form's been up and down for a couple seasons now and it doesn't seem like Khusanov is enough to challenge him for his place regularly.
It’s not the transfer fee, it’s the signing on fee that will be the stumbling block.40m deal gets done. Even at that in today's market that's an absolute steel for an English CB
