I’ve justified it more as him being one of the best Association Trained players out there, especially for the money.Won't lie, the more I've thought about this the more I've realised that I'm only really keen on this because for £20mil (or around that) the deal is a no brainer h
If he had 4 years left and would cost us £60mil i doubt anyone would be asking for this move
He seems to prefer the LCB role which is a bit odd for a right footer, and I prefer Gvardiol over him
Is he an improvement over Dias? Maybe, maybe not, Dias gets a lot of stick here but put Guehi in our high line often by himself and see how he does
I think the development of Khusanov will play a part in this and perhaps the timeline of Reis.
Gvardiol, Dias, Stones, Guehi, Khusanov, Reis. Don't see Bah being ready.
Stones is a big?
Dias doesn't look to be going anywhere.
Reis may or may not be ready.
So if Guehi comes in I'd say several would be out. If Reis is ready and Khusanov has a strong back half of this season that might negate the need for Guehi unless we perhaps anticipate Dias departing sooner rather than later.
Reis and Khusanov are 6 and 4 years younger than Guehi.Reis, Khusanov and Bah are nowhere near as good as Guehi.
If there’s an opportunity to improve the squad, especially the strongest XI, then we should do it. Just like when we signed Donnarumma shortly after Trafford. No room for sentiment, we have to win things.
Reis and Khusonov certainly have the potential to be as good howeverReis, Khusanov and Bah are nowhere near as good as Guehi.

Yes - just edited my OP to say the same thingI love Khus but Reis is giving me Stones vibes? Same type of build, height, stature and how they play
Yes - just edited my OP to say the same thing
Just needs to add some muscle and physicality to his game
I do think Khusonov is flying a bit under the radar as well.....if he learns to be less rash he will be a beast back there.....there is little that phases him - he has pace and power but his passing is underrated.....he can find a pass as well. His reading of the game is very good as well.
it seems Reis has had a sucsesfull loan, plays every gameYes - just edited my OP to say the same thing

He's at Girona, an absolutely gash team.....if he didn't play every game, he wouldn't be good enough for Wolves ;)it seems Reis has had a sucsesfull loan, plays every game
Spoke to a few at Palace yesterday including an ex player that’s still quite involved. They all think he’s coming here on a free at the end of the season.
None of them want to lose him in Jan but guess that goes down to the board in terms of cashing in. Let’s be honest they could sell him to us and take Ake if Nathan wants to go there.
Also said Munich reached out but not interested.
maybe but if you are a defender in a gash team and still get picked for every game, you must be one of their better players ......just a maybe :-)He's at Girona, an absolutely gash team.....if he didn't play every game, he wouldn't be good enough for Wolves ;)
Not surprised always thought they’d join inChelsea going for Guehi now
