Despite the inflated figures, the transfer fees here total ~£400m! Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. So many Scousers complaining despite the fact that they spent more in 1 window. Also, not every player is even at the club currently.

Whether you agree or not with his stance it doesn’t matter. There are many many Muslim players, Christian players etc who will share that belief. My point is football should not be used to promote any subject that isn’t related to the game.

And for the record I have no issue with gay people but I respect Guehi’s stance. Doesn’t mean I agree with it. And just looking into it further he promoted a message saying Jesus loves you. How is that homophobia ffs?

There were lots of armbands he could have chosen to scrawl on but he chose that one and did it specifically to make a point about his “christian” beliefs which he interprets as homosexuality being a sin.

As another poster said his Father who is a “minister” confirmed this.

Its bad enough the FA did fuck all and nil from the England Team but now this.

This is Manchester for fucks sake. Depressing but I guess entirely predictable how people defend him.

I've zero doubts Guehi will be on an absolute mint given the circumstances but it always makes me laugh how the private and confidential issue of a players wages are widely known amongst all "journalists" (drspite them regularly saying different things and changing their own figures) and there supposedly isn't a single player in the league whose wages are unknown.

Even when players dont have an agent like when KDB didn't have one when he signed a new contract with us years ago and so its literally just the player and the club hierachy who will have any knowledge of what they're earning, there's still claims they know how much a player is earning.

Easiest thing in the world to make up because there's no disputing it eith any proof and we all just blindly believe it for some unknown reason.

Weve been far too nice in the window for the last few years

They think were some crazy oil driven spending machine whereas they spent nothing....then give them that
