Marc Guehi | Staying at Palace

Not for me. Another British player over-hyped. We have enough centre backs to be going on with and a few promising ones coming through. Personally, I think Palace are a little disappointed they didn't take the (reportedly) £70m offered for Guehi. Funny how Parish came on tv saying he was surprised nobody signed Eze for the £60m release clause. Almost saying please someone, give us £60m.

Ake and Gvardiol can both play CB. I'm guessing that Nathan has played more games in the centre than on the left in his career. So, that'd be four CBs.

He wasn't physically suited to the Premier League for me but he's a good footballer. Pep loved him for a reason. Don't want him back though, I preferred all 3 of Tosin Doyle and Harwood-Bellis if we were bringing back an academy lad. Think we'll go for Branthwaite when Everton finally stop being the turd stuck in the Premier League u-bend. Natural successor to Jonny Stones.

He's no worse than some of the names thrown about by the transfer forum flappers during the last couple of weeks of the transfer window!

But he wasn't good enough last time and will never be good enough.

There are quite a few decent CBs coming through at the moment in the Premier League. Another is the fella at Everton, Branthwaite. I'd be surprised if we don't go for one of them at some point. But then maybe we'll look overseas, and you've also got to assume that Gvardiol's long-term position is going to be CB.

We should not pay the crazy fees for the overrated english defenders. Harewood-Bellis is as talented as Braithwaite, Doyle could also be close ro that level. They are not good enough for our team at least yet.
