Can't believe it's been 11 years. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I was 13, and at home when I saw the news. I was supposed to meet some friends and play football at that time, which I eventually did, and I remember breaking down and crying the biggest tears I've ever cried, with all my friends around me wondering what was going on. The images of MVF lying on the pitch, looking up at the sky, really got to me.
Rest in peace, Marc Vivien Foe. You will not be forgotten.
