I think this could be a geniuine story and I like the look of it, especially if you add in the Silva bit at the bottom of the Mail story aswell...

Only thoughts with Gago, and I haven't really seen him play, but how many defensive midfielders do we need? Spanish reporter on TS saying Silva will only be sold if a really really stupid offer comes in, this following the sale of Zigic and Villa, (meaning Val don't have to sell). He did, however, say that he thinks Silva will get sold. Still think it will be Chelsea though, not us.

gago is a very good player imo. a rotation of him and NDJ is not something i could possibly complain about.

No, but it does seem to makes sense. Will say one thing though. Madrid wont buy David Silva and Di Maria, too similar. One or the other (probably Silva), and we might get the other.

He has failed to live up to high expectations, next Redondo etc, but having said that he is great passer, compared to what we have and I feel he might be better in the premier than la liga.

Mourinho has said he's not interested in di Maria, sort of did down the portuguese league.

So Gago, de Jong, Van der Vart in midfield and Tev, di Maria and Higuain up front.
