He's a fantasy football signing is Reus. Sure to excite the whole stadium. Part of me doubts it as he plays the more direct German way than our style, but he would bring a whole new dynamic to the team and also fill two roles - relief for Silva because he creates a ridiculous amount of chances and plenty of goals, eliminating the need for a 4th traditional striker. The competition will be fierce though and I have doubts on whether we can beat Real Madrid (maybe they can sell us Bale if they sign Reus) or Bayern to him, but worth a try.
Bayern are my only concern, I don't think/know where he would fit for Real to be honest.
He would be the icing on our cake and would take us to the next level, I make no apologies that I keep going on about this lad, he's that good.
We should throw everything at this player to get him here, Txiki needs to get the Sheikh to raid his piggy bank.
He would fit in Real and take anyone's place but Ronaldo. Madrid already tried to get him over Bale and he is a better player. Scores just as much, assist much more and contributes to the build up.
Reus will only leave to a club that is going to win trophies. Unless Arsenal win the CL or the Premier League I don't think any chance he goes there. Bayern and Madrid are probably the biggest worries along with United if they get top 4. Chelsea is another possibility, but the Arsenal rumours are a joke.
Still I think people are writing of Dortmund a bit too early. If they can keep their players fit then they are stronger this year than last, but it depends on very big IF's. Gundogan needs to recover his old form and so does Kagawa. They still lack a quality striker, but a team comprising of could be great.
Wiedenfeller
Piszeck Sokratis Hummels Schmelzer
Bender Gundogan
Mkhitaryan Kagawa Reus
Ramos
Schmelzer, Mkhitaryan and Ramos being the weak links and that is depending on Gundogan and Kagawa getting back on form.
