Not a good idea to end the transfer window early. Hope they get rid of it. deals take time and are complex so I don’t see why clubs should be forced to cram in everything in such a short space of time. Plus clubs will pay more as they are desperate to get things done before the window shuts

Start your business earlier....

You think clubs want to be discussing transfers of their best players before the season finishes ? They wouldn’t want those distractions while still fighting for silverware/positions in the league
Plus players go to tournaments and on holiday etc. Really doesn’t leave much in the way of negotiating time. World cup year was a daft time to start

I don't think ending earlier is a problem , ending earlier than everyone else is. A selling club can ask an English club for more knowing they are running out of time, whereas they could still have 3 weeks to sell to another club if it falls through. That and English clubs can still lose players but not replace them.

Very true

Under the old way there were always some who wanted this way so that with the start of the season the squads were complete and couldnt be added too. I just think the World cup has had an effect this year but it is not outside the rhealms of man to organise your club to get the deals done earlier.

Also, clubs can come in for english clubs players, unsettle them, create a move and then those clubs have no opportunity to replace them. Seems crazy that the rest of europe have weeks to sign players where english clubs have finished.

Napoli confirmed the deal was done a couple of weeks before he went to the chavs,he kept us hanging till sarri got the job then he veered off to them,we were played, this is all on record if you followed it,no point comparing his value to another player, each player has a seperate value but you keep moaning about him if you want and ignore the quality team we have and the fact dinho easily has another season in him if managed properly as pep will do,if the chavs win the league it will be because they don't have CL, get a new manager bounce and their players know how to win the league and not because of one player
Is correct answer
