Marco Verratti

Pass, can name 10 CM's id rather have just off the top of my head.

5 or 6 years ago I thought he looked a brilliant player, but then he moved to Paris for the big money and easy matches. No longer good enough for where we're at.

He is playing for PSG for 11 Years..
But in general I agree, although he is an excellent player, he is already 30 years old and there seems to be a certain decline in his performances.

from BBC Gossip (I know I know) Manchester City rejected Paris St-Germain's offer to include Italy midfielder Marco Verratti, 30, and Italy keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, 24, as part of a deal to sign Portugal playmaker Bernardo Silva from the Treble winners. (Footmercato - in French)

No thanks to Verratti, but Donarumma is a monster

Think we’d prefer a monstrous pot of cash. Silver for Silva if you will.

PSG will have money to burn when Mbappe goes - they've cleared a load of wage space as well. Wouldn't surprise me if they went for Laporte & Bernardo. No point going for any of their players as part-exchange

Zero chance Donna plays in a Pep side. A certain sign that it is false.

What about as a keeper, I know who I would have any day and twice on a Saturday evening.
As a Pep keeper then it's Eddie every day, partly because I've no idea what he's like playing out from the back. Whenever I've seen Donnamurra, which isn't that often to be honest, he's bossed his area and been excellent in terms of shot stopping and positioning.

Verrati sounds a good replacement for Gundo or Bernardo but the only issue is age and whether he can adapt to the Premier League from the off. The Donnarumma swap is laughable

Donnarumma isn't any better than our two keepers by a long chalk
