Complete side note.

The BBC news just did a quick summary of today's points and the Rashford story (quite rightly) featured. What made me laugh was the portion size that they showed in the clip. I swear the amount of pasta that was put on the plate would have fed about 4.

Someone suggested on here that many of the blues commenting about the media overkill today would not have complained if a City player had written the letter.
I will turn that round a bit and ask would the media have given a fraction of the coverage to someone like Raz for example or indeed any player not from a team in red? There would be very little positive comment in support and the proposal would have got nowhere.
Football starts again tomorrow after a long break. In the evening the League Champions will play a team once called the invincibles and yet our piss poor media seems to be more concerned about what Kyle Walker did 5 weeks ago. And tomorrow there will be little about City. Front and back pages will be all about United and the other team in red.
And Marcus Rashford will be writing to the government about how he wants them to deal the financial crisis looming in months to come.

After everything that’s happened over the past few months you see a young man focussed on doing something so important and meaningful. He could just throw a few quid at a charity but no he’s put his heart into this and I’m sure he doesn’t care about getting credit. What matters is he’s made a huge difference, he’s called out cold hearted MPs and put them to the sword. He’s Extraordinary in my opinion.

Absolutely fantastic work by Rashford. I do not care who he plays for, he has made a difference to to the lives of some of the most disadvantaged in society.

Him and Raz both come across as great ambassadors for the two clubs in the City and long may it continue.
