He is Indicative of the current Gen Z mentality. Any criticism of his lack of effort, lack of form, character on the field is re-labelled as bullying, racial profiling or not being in-tune with mental health issues etc etc..The bloke irrespective of who he plays for seems to have lost his passion in football. I`ve got nothing against the lad but he needs to buckle down or he`ll go the same way as one of my favourite ex City lads ... Michael Johnson. Maybe he has the same problems as Michael ?
I don`t know how much ne still does for the food supply and maybe his heart is more in love with that and football is now secondary.
And as I said you only have to look at our very own Michael Johnson, which I assume you don`t realise what he went through, and in the end had to give up football ?He is Indicative of the current Gen Z mentality. The guy is playing for his boyhood team, earning 300K per week. How much motivation does he need? How many lads out there would give everything they had for just a sniff of that? He has crawled up his own arse and lost sight of the thing it was that made him in the first place. And it took all of one month for his new manager to suss him out.
One day in the future, when he is about 38 years old, the penny will drop and he will realise that following the likes of Lingard, Pogba and Sancho was career suicide. And it will be too late to do anything about it.
I`m not going to argue with your post as I think likewise, bora. He’s retire by the time he’s 30
Not fishfingers?Apparently he wants his next deal to be paid in coke
